Vendor reporting & performance

Reporting for commercial decisions

See performance.
Know what to do next.

Our reporting connects sales, contribution, availability, advertising and deductions with the actions needed to move the account forward. We agree the measures, data sources and review rhythm around your business.

An illustrative monthly trading report

Fictional example figures for one month. This is a sample reporting format, not a client result, forecast or performance promise. Measures below use different data sources and should not be added together.

Example monthly performance summary
Measure This month Previous month What we would review
Sales invoiced to Amazon £150,000 £140,000 Growth by product and range, alongside order timing.
Contribution after agreed variable costs £30,000 / 20% £25,200 / 18% Mix, pricing and costs behind the movement.
Availability on agreed priority products 94% 91% Out-of-stock lines and replenishment actions.
Advertising spend £8,000 £7,500 Allocation, product readiness and campaign objectives.
Advertising-attributed sales £40,000 £36,000 Attribution window and campaign results; not additional invoiced sales.
New deductions recorded £2,500 £3,200 Reasons, evidence and recurring causes.

The explanation behind the numbers

A useful report explains what changed, why it matters and what decision follows. We review product mix and account events alongside the measures, so timing differences or isolated issues do not become misleading conclusions.

Contribution uses an agreed cost basis. The example is after agreed variable costs and before wider business overheads; it is not net profit. We define the actual treatment of terms, advertising and deductions with you.

The next actions

  • Review unavailable priority products with the stock and fulfilment owners.
  • Investigate the products driving the contribution movement.
  • Review campaign allocation against availability and commercial objectives.
  • Gather evidence for the deductions requiring further investigation.
  • Record an owner, review date and dependency for each agreed action.

Agree the reporting before relying on it

We define each measure, reporting period and data source, including how availability is calculated and which products it covers. Advertising attribution differs from supplier invoicing and does not demonstrate incremental profit on its own.

Deduction reports can include timing differences, open claims and finalised amounts. We separate these where the data allows and make limitations visible. Reporting frequency, formats and stakeholders are agreed within the service scope.

Reporting your team can act on.

We can agree a practical monthly review, leadership summary and working action tracker within your account management or commercial support scope.
